For software to be viable on these tablets, they probably won't be able to command a price of much more that $4.99, much less than most of the pc-based versions cost now. It's been around for a few years. With all the new, inexpensive Slates about to hit the market this summer, we might see software like MathJournal that can change how students problem solve.
