		<description>Paul, Thanks for the reference. One thing that I didn&#039;t mention in the original entry was cost. For software to be viable on these tablets, they probably won&#039;t be able to command a price of much more that $4.99, much less than most of the pc-based versions cost now.</description>

You&#039;ve probably already done so, but if not, check out the xThink (xthink.com) software coming out of a company in Germany.  It&#039;s been around for a few years.  With all the new, inexpensive Slates about to hit the market this summer, we might see software like MathJournal that can change how students problem solve.  No more need for a graphing calculator.  Pretty cool stuff.</description>
