Next week Beijing will host the OpenOffice.org Annual International Conference (OOoCon). The event runs from November 5 through 7. I will not be attending, though several of my IBM colleagues will be there. I did go to the event two years ago in Lyon, and it was excellent.

Here’s how the conference website describes the event:

The OpenOffice.org Annual International Conference (OOoCon) is the premier event for anyone interested in or working with OpenOffice.org. OOoCon is where representatives of all the community projects meet to celebrate and learn from the achievements of the past twelve months, and discuss how to meet the challenges of the next twelve.

In addition to the regular program, there is an ODF Workshop on November 6 where members of the OASIS ODF Adoption TC and the new OASIS ODF Interoperability and Conformance TC will get together.

Rob Weir has a list of ODF-related sessions at the OO.o Conference on his website.
