In the last decade, the move to open source and standards has significantly changed the way IBM runs its business, creates its products, and delivers its services. This talk will take you through how IBM thinks strategically about open source and the company’s assumptions about how open source will continue to force change in the ICT world.
While I’ve done some business travel in the last month, it’s been fairly light, though it has involved a lot of driving. This trip next week starts five or six weeks of pretty intensive travel, so expect some reports from the road to appear here.
