There’s nothing more I could say here that Andy hasn’t brilliantly described in his blog entry, so go read “Linux Foundation Releases Statement Calling for National Bodies to Vote “No” on OOXML.” Andy goes deeply into the reasons why OOXML is fundamentally flawed and should be rejected as a proposed JTC1 (ISO/IEC) standard.
