Wednesday: OECD in Ottawa

OECD logo

I’ll be speaking this Wednesday at the OECD-Canada Forum on the Participative Web: Strategies and Policies for the Future. There have been a few flavors of the title of my talk floating around, the latest is “Virtual worlds, web blogs, and collaborative spaces: Why interoperability matters more than ever”. The full program is here in PDF.

“Give everyone a copy of IBM Lotus Symphony http://symphony.lotus.com and use tax dollars to buy everybody a Microsoft XBox360 with its lovely IBM supercomputer chip inside, we can then take things to the next level and everyone will be happy ever after.”

    Easy.

  • I was at the OECD conference in Ottawa yesterday. Bob’s conference was among the most interesting ones, quite personnal, especially when he related how he manages people scattered around the globe from a home office!
