With a bit more thought, this is really what I’m after as a del.icio.us replacement.
Right now in Firefox I have a little toolbar button that, when clicked, opens up a window containing the web page title and URL. I can add comments and tags, and then send the whole thing off for storage on del.icio.us. Maybe some people look at what I have by browsing the del.icio.us site or getting a feed, but I’m mainly just interested in the daily blog posting. At a time I select, more or less, del.icio.us is supposed to construct a blog entry and send it to WordPress. That’s been flakie recently, and that’s one of the reasons why I want to replace it.
My needs are simpler. I don’t need an external service. I want that little button to store the link information directly on sutor.com, either in the WordPress database itself or in separate storage. I don’t want to have a small limit on the amount of quote or comment text. I want the tags I used to be the same tags I use for WordPress entries. I want to be able to do at least daily digests of the bookmarks I save via this service. In fact, I would like the option to have two digests put up per day. Alternatively, some people might only want weekly digests.
So I want to get rid of the middleman (del.icio.us) and use the software I already have (WordPress).
Now, who has one of these I can use?

I’ve been disappointed with Delicious’ weak search-ability. Some folks I work with like Diigo.
Thanks, Sam, I’ll check it out.
You might want to try doing it the opposite way – using postalicious for wordpress to scrape your delicious onto your blog. http://neop.gbtopia.com/?p=108
Pretty customizable and painless.
