US Open Government Dialogue

As part of the Obama administration’s effort to make the US government and more transparent, a website has been set up by the National Academy of Public Administration to allow public proposals and comments on the topic. While some of these are, shall we say, off topic, but many are directly related to problems in government today.

One suggestion that I find particularly appealing is “Mandate open formats in all government formats.” This topic will be well understood ground for those who have supported ODF over the last few years. I urge you to contribute constructively to the discussion.
